What is CrossFit

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that utilizes constantly varied, functional movements executed at a high intensity level.

It’s a combination of aerobic exercise, interval training, weightlifting, calisthenics and other exercises that deliver a high-intensity workout.

The CrossFit program is broad and inclusive by design, with universal scalability that makes it an effective fitness solution for any committed individual regardless of experience. So wherever you’re at physically, the program structure doesn’t change, but the load and intensity can be tailored to meet your needs.

About the program (WODS)

Every day there is a different Workout; The Workout Of the Day (WOD). The WOD always starts with a warming-up tailored to warm up for the real workout. After the warming-up there will be a skill and a strength part. The skill part will be focused on the technique required for the movements in the WOD and figure out the best scaling option for every athlete. The strength part aims to get you stronger by training a specific lift or movement. After this the WOD starts. At the end of every class a short cool-down with stretching or foam rolling is provided.

You will never do the exact same thing, the only time you will repeat a workout is to measure improvement. Routine is the enemy, CrossFit constantly combines gymnastics, weight training, and endurance conditioning.
